Détail / Detail (texte extrait des Explications des planches) 1. Buffet, garni de toutes les pièces du coupoir. Il a un tiroir sur le devant et un bas d'armoire fermé de deux portes dans toute la longueur. À gauche est une planche à rebord pour poser les rabots ; un chandelier à branches pliantes est placé sur un des angles. Ce buffet est couvert dans la moitié de sa longueur d'une forte planche qu'on nomme TABLE, laquelle reçoit les tablettes. 1. Panelled table with all the fittings required for dressing type. It has a drawer at one end and a long cupboard underneath with two doors. On the left is a shelf for planes with a gallery to stop them from falling off. A candle-stick with extensible arm is stationed in one corner. Half the top of the block is covered with a thick wooden board to which the cheeks are attached.
